Days 1 Arrival Delhi Arrive at New Delhi International airport. Please clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and proceed to the arrival lounge through the green channel if you do not have goods to be declared to customs. Castle and King India executive will wait at the arrival with a placard in your name to greet you. Thereafter you will be assisted with a transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at The Oberoi Delhi. Days 2 Delhi Sightseeing After breakfast, in New Delhi, you can pay a visit to the Qutub Complex to travel back to the time of the beginnings of Islamic rule in Delhi. From there, you can move on to British Delhi, to cover monuments that reflect the spirit of independent India - the President-s House, Parliament House and India Gate. After lunch in Old Delhi, you will see the Red Fort, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1638 of the Mughal Dynasty. Opposite the Red fort is the Jama Masjid, the mosque also built by Shah Jahan and is the largest in India. After that, you can go for a popular Bazaar Walk in Old Delhi. It will take you to the busy and lively Chandni Chowk area. Do have a fun Cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk. Overnight stay at The Oberoi Delhi. Days 3 Delhi to Agra (By Road) After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel transfer to Agra. Reach Agra and check into hotel. Agra the home of India's most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. A poem of white marble, the Taj is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Later in the afternoon proceed to visit Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar, which is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture. Next visit Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb; nicknamed as baby Taj; another fine example of Mughal architecture. Overnight stay at The Oberoi Amar Vilas Agra. Days 4 Agra to Jaipur (By Road - 265 Kms, 5 Hours) Enroute visit Fatehpur-Sikri Early morning visit to Taj Mahal (closed on Fridays), a UNESCO Heritage Site, to catch the sun rising over the Taj Mahal - undisputedly one of the world's most beautiful buildings. In the soft morning light, as the mist rises from the Yamuna River, it seems to float like a mirage above the surrounding landscape. Built from dazzling marble, its colour changes from white to yellow, cream and to almost orangeナ an exquisite image that you'll remember forever. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later transfer to Pink City Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The perfectly preserved red sandstone buildings consist of palaces, courtyards, a life-size chess board, tombs and mosques.Visit the Diwan-e-Khaswith its remarkable central pillar. Also unmissable is Panch Mahal, the five storied structure used as the viewing station for the harem. After visiting continue travel to Jaipur. Reach Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Jaipur the first planned city of India is a treasure-trove of culture, art and history, famous for its colour, life style and Rajasthani cuisine. It is a city exuding royal heritage and extravagant richness. The historic city also has many temples and shrines. Overnight stay at The Oberoi Raj Vilas Jaipur. Days 5 Jaipur Sightseeing After breakfast, you will visit Amber Fort. The Amber Fort is cuddled in elegant and craggy hills. It represents a fascinating mix of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The fort is made in red sand stone and white marble. Enjoy Elephant Safari here. In afternoon, you will visit City palace. It is located in the middle of the fortified city. Then visit Jantar Mantar (the observatory) and Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay at The Oberoi Raj Vilas Jaipur. Days 6 Jaipur to Delhi (By Road, 235 Kms, 5 Hours) After relaxed breakfast at the hotel transfer to Delhi, reach Delhi and transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for hometown with sweet memories of India Tour.
