All correspondence/s in respect of Tours / Travel Service bookings should be addressed to Castle and King India Inc.
For the services booked, an advance payment is required to retain the booking on a confirmed basis, and the rest can be paid either before your departure from your country/place or upon arrival in INDIA/your place–but not before the services begin. We reserve the right to determine the amount to be paid as an advance payment based on the nature of the services and the amount of time remaining before the services begin.
Aside from the foregoing, in some situations, such as special train travels or hotel or resort bookings during peak season (Christmas, New Year’s), full payment is required in advance.
When you arrive in India/your location, you can pay with cash notes, traveller’s checks, AMEX, Visa, or Master Card.
If you pay by credit card, you will be charged an additional 3% on top of the total cost.
We must be notified in writing if tour/travel services are cancelled for any reason, preventable or unavoidable. Cancellation costs would be applicable from the day we received the letter in writing, and they would be as follows:
Please keep in mind that, regardless of the above-mentioned cancellation slabs, if you cancel your trip services after booking with us, you will incur a least 10% service charge.
A unique cancellation policy applies to special train journeys (such as Palace on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, and Royal Orient) and high peak season tickets (from December 20th to January 15th).
If you cancel the trip after it has begun, your reimbursement will be limited to a certain amount, which will also be determined by how much we can collect from the hotels we use. We are not responsible for refunding unused hotel accommodations, chartered transportation, missed meals, and so forth.
Regarding refunds for unused/unutilized services (paid for and cancelled in advance), the refund amount would be calculated using the cancellation procedure indicated above, and the money would be repaid to the person who made the payment to us. Please be aware that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking processes. If the refund is issued to a credit card account or a bank account, the bank costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
Please keep in mind that once the tour/service cost has been finalized, any increases in monument/museum admission fees, taxes, fuel costs, or guide charges imposed by the Government of India will be charged as an additional price.
Castle and King India Inc. only acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transporters, railways, and contractors who provide other services, and all exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by us are subject to the terms and conditions under which these services are provided.
All itineraries are example itineraries designed to give you an idea of the typical trip itinerary. Weather, road conditions, participant physical capacity, and other reasons may cause schedule adjustments before or during the tour. We have the right to adjust any timetable in the benefit of tour participants’ safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Our rates are based on the current pricing that we have negotiated with hotels, airlines, and other providers. Hotels and airlines reserve the right to change the pricing without notice. In the event of such changes, the rates mentioned prior to the alteration may be modified by us in accordance with the revisions made by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on the usual check-in and check-out times of the hotels unless indicated in the itinerary.
We will not be liable for any delays or changes in the schedule, or any expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – as a result of natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdowns of machinery or equipment, breakdowns of transportation, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, or any other untoward incidents.
As a result of any act of God, dangers, fire, accident, malfunctioning machinery or equipment, breakdown of transportation, wars, civil unrest, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or customs department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control, we shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other services.
We don’t have any insurance that would pay for losses from theft, illness, accidents, or other causes. It is recommended that visitors look for these insurance plans back home. The danger of any baggage and personal property is always assumed by the customer.

Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, a reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.
Check–out – 1000 – 1200 Hours
Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability / Payment.
