Days 1

Arrival in Delhi

Your Rajasthan India tour with Ranthambore will begin as soon as you arrive at the New Delhi International Airport. After finishing up the immigration and visa formalities and collecting your luggage, you will meet the Castle & King India representative with a placard in your name to greet you. After that, you will assisted in your transfer to your Oberoi Hotels. Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India and many ancient empires. Today, the city is a unique blend of Old and New which is very evident in the two parts – Old Delhi and New Delhi. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Days 2

Explore Delhi

After breakfast, you will proceed for your sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. The first monument that you will explore on your sightseeing tour of Old Delhi is the Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort – once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire. Moreover, you will also enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk.

 

Later in the day, you will visit the Humayun’s Tomb, which is a 16th-century monument and the first garden tomb built in the country. After this, you will be enjoying a drive along the ceremonial avenue – Raj path, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, and the President’s Residence. You will end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Days 3

Delhi–Agra
(By Road: 220 Kms, 3-4 Hrs)

After breakfast, get ready to embark on a journey to your next destination in a Private AC Car – Agra. Agra is famously known for red sandstone and white marble, narrow galleys, and quaint buggies, which still have the aroma of the Mughals. After reaching Agra, you will be transferred to your hotel for immediate check-in. After relaxing for a while, get ready to explore the Agra city.

The first stop in our sightseeing tour is the Agra fort, which was built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. The fort is predominantly made of red sandstone, and within it is the picture-perfect Pearl Mosque, a major tourist attraction. Later, we will head towards Itmadullah’s Tomb, which Empress NOOR JEHAN built in memory of her father. The interiors of this tomb are considered better than the Taj. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Days 4

Agra–Ranthambore

Rise and get ready to visit the highlight of the Rajasthan India tour package with Ranthambore, which is the Taj Mahal. Visiting the Taj Mahal during sunrise is the best time to visit and soak in the beauty of this famous monument. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj is a white marble memorial to his beautiful wife, Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to be completed and was designed and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens, and some of the best inlay work ever seen.

Later, after soaking in the beauty of the mesmerizing Taj, we will embark on our journey towards Ranthambore National Park, a tiger reserve in the Rajasthan state of India. Ranthambore is located in Sawai Madhopur district of south-eastern Rajasthan, about 130 km from Jaipur, which is also the nearest airport. The nearest town and railway station is at Sawai Madhopur, 11 km away. Upon arrival in Ranthambore, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After check-in, enjoy the wilderness of the national park. Moreover, enjoy the spectacular sundowner from the private Observation Tower of the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel and prepare yourself for a thrilling safari the next day.

Ranthambore National Park lies at the edge of a plateau and is bounded to the north by the Banas River and to the south by the Chambal River. There are several lakes in the park. It is named for the historic Ranthambore fortress, which lies within the national park. The park covers an area of 392 km², is famous for its tiger population, and is one of India’s Project Tiger reserves. Other major wild animals include the leopard, dhole, wild pig, sambar`, chital and gaur. You will head for the 2 jeep safaris, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

The other places that you can explore during your jungle safari are the Ranthambore Fort, where you can occasionally spot the tigers from the top of the fort as well, Padam Talao, Raj Bagh and others. After witnessing tigers and other animals in their natural habitat, return to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Days 5

Thrilling Private Exclusive Jeep Safaris

Rise up early and head for your morning safari in the Ranthambore National Park. The morning time is the prime time to spot the elusive Bengal Tigers. During this time, the animals are active after a night of rest, making it easier to spot them. Explore The Pink City

After a relaxed breakfast, get ready for your colourful outfits as you head to explore the Pink City. The first stop is the Amber Fort, a classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace.  Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by his descendant, Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression. You will be reaching Amber Fort through a jeep ride. After this, continue your journey to the City Palace, which is the perfect blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum.

Later, explore the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country.  This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use. The last stop in the sightseeing tour of Jaipur is the Hawa Mahal, which is also known as the  “Palace of Winds” and is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Days 8

Jaipur – Delhi – Home
(By Surface: 240 Km, 5 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi in the private AC car.
